Taking inspiration from Ubisoft's "Assassin's Creed Valhalla," I embarked on the endeavor of crafting a scene within Unreal Engine 5 that emulates the ambiance of a Viking village. The objective was to construct an engaging and immersive environment that seamlessly integrated into the game's open world while concurrently enhancing my proficiency in Level Design and Unreal Engine.

Developed the landscaping material, blending elements of grass and dirt to achieve a natural and randomized appearance.
Started importing a variety of meshes from Quixel Bridge
Started designing the layout of the scene.
Added an island surrounded by water.
To create the water, I used a straightforward plane featuring reflections and textures to replicate the authentic appearance of water. This approach was chosen to enhance scene optimization and conserve resources effectively.
Painted trees into the scene using various brushes
Added foliage to add extra detail and make the scene more immersive
Started working on the lighting of the scene with the goal of achieving a natural warm lighting, similar to natural morning light.
Designated an area for the village itself and started constructing the village.
Finally I worked on detailing and polishing the scene to make it look as real as possible.
